Advance Student Research Internship

Eligibility

• UL Lafayette sophomores, juniors, or seniors, with emphasis on sophomore and juniors.
• Students can be from any major with an ASRE Pathway.
• Students must be working to complete an ASRE Pathway in their major.

Timeline

Two semesters within the same fiscal year (August 1-June 30). Can include summer semester.

Requirements

• End of each semester reflection paper.
• Attend two workshops specific to student's major.
• Attend the following workshops.
  • Student Funding Workshop
  • How to Get Into Grad School
  • Writing Professionally
• Professional presentation of your final project in the form of a poster presentation, oral presentation, professional exhibit or performance, or a paper submission for publication. (Must be approved by Advance Executive Director)
