Advance (ASRE) Pathways
Q: Who can sign up to complete an ASRE Pathway?
A: Any undergraduate student whose major department has an active ASRE Pathway may sign up to complete an ASRE Pathway.
Q: How do I know what ASRE Pathway to sign up for?
A: The ASRE Pathway you select will correspond to your major.
Q: What if I am a double major?
A: You may only select one Pathway to complete. You will need to select one ASRE Pathway from those majors.
Q: How do I sign up to complete an ASRE Pathway?
A: To sign up, you will need to come to the SCRCS/Advance office located in Dupré Library, Room 102 and sign up on the sign-up sheet.
Q: Can I sign up electronically?
A: As of now, sign up is only in person.
Q: When should I sign up to complete an ASRE Pathway?
A: We suggest signing up as soon as possible so that you can start completing requirements. The goal of this program is for students to complete throughout their college career.
Q: When is the last semester I can sign up?
A: Students are required to sign up at least one semester prior to the semester they graduate. Students may not sign up in the same semester that they graduate.
Q: My major isn’t listed as having an active ASRE Pathway. What do I do?
A: The best course of action is to discuss with your major's Department Head/Chair about your interest in completing an ASRE Pathway and suggest they reach out to our office to get the process started.
Q: How do I remove myself from the program?
A: Submit the ASRE Pathway Removal Form in Campus Groups.
Q: What do I do if I have more questions?
A: You can email advance@louisiana.edu and your question will be directed to the appropriate contact.
