Our Mission

The mission of the Student Center for Research, Creativity, & Scholarship is to facilitate, promote, and track Undergraduate Research at UL Lafayette in order to help sustain the University's R1 status. 

What is Undergraduate Research?

The Council on Undergraduate Research defines Undergraduate Research as a mentored investigation or creative inquiry conducted by undergraduate students that seek to make a scholarly or artistic contribution to knowledge.

Research includes forms of scholarly works and/or creative activities in all academic majors.
