Ink to Impact: Research Poster Printing Award

Ink to Impact is a research poster printing award sponsored by the Student Government Association (SGA) and the ADVANCE Student Undergraduate Research Program, implemented by Print & Ship.

Requirements

The poster award allows students to print two sizes: 24”x 36” or 36” x 48”. If the conference (event) requires a different size, please include a copy of this information in your application. The award may not cover specialized sizes. Students must provide a digital version of the poster in PDF format that is reviewed by Print & Ship before printing takes place. After submitting an award application, students should expect at least a two-week time lapse before printing takes place.  

Applications & Awards

Applications are reviewed by the Executive Director of the Advance Student Research Program and awarded at her discretion.

Award priorities are listed in order as follows:

1. Preference will be given to posters that will be presented at multiple events. 
2. Preference will be given to posters presented at professional events that occur outside the University. 
3. Preference will be given to posters presented at campus-wide events versus college or departmental events. 
4. Poster printing awards will be approved if no other free resources are available. Read the poster printing resources information.

If a student’s request is denied, we suggest reaching out to Print & Ship. They can be contacted at printingservices@louisiana.edu. They are located at the corner of St. Mary Blvd. and Rex Street.  Posters can be printed at cost in most cases (starting at $50.00).
