Submit an Application for the 2026-2027 Advance Faculty Learning Communities

Faculty and staff in the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters may apply to join the 2026-2027 Advance-SRP Faculty Learning Communities as they examine best practices related to undergraduate research.

FLC membership offers the opportunity to connect with colleagues across the University and engage in peer-led professional development.

Advance-SRP FLC members will:

    Meet with their community two to three times during the fall semester and every other week during the spring semester and participate in FLC activities.
    Contribute to developing the core deliverables for the community and to disseminating their findings at the end of the spring semester.
    Receive a $1,000 honorarium for participating in an Advance-SRP FLC.

Apply to participate in one of the following Advance-SRP FLCs (Faculty may identify more than one choice):

    The Essentials of Undergraduate Research
        Facilitated by Dr. Sherry Krayesky-Self & Jessica Thibodeaux

    Developing and Optimizing Course-Embedded Undergraduate Research Experiences (CUREs)
        Facilitated by Dr. Sophie Plouviez

    Leveraging AI Across Undergraduate Research Experiences
        Facilitated by Dr. Latasha Holt and Dr. Laura Latiolais

Apply to participate by Wednesday, Oct. 14. Selected faculty members will be notified by Wednesday, Oct. 21.
